Our market niche
the Inland Empire market area has more that 1.1 million households. Of these
households, 62 percent has Internet access. With our online community brand and
premium services and low cost access, we are effectively positioned to compete
with other Internet Service Providers.
Individuals: Defined as single individuals living alone or with roommate,
may be single parent, working professional or student could work from home, or
outside, or both. They tend to use broadband connectivity and receive service
from one of the primary broadband carriers, cable or phone company. They usually
have an entrepreneurial spirit, always seeking a business or financial
opportunity.
Non-profits:
Small to medium-size not-for-profit community-based
enterprises. They are operated from a small office, or the home, usually by one
or two individuals with support from part-time employee or volunteers. Their
Internet access is typically dial-up to save money, may have a static web page
and are constantly seeking funding. Usually, they use the Web for informational
purposes only.
Small Office/Home Office
(SOHO):
Defined as startup
operation less than one or two years old, run by one or several individuals who
are computer savvy and more likely to have high speed bandwidth connectivity.
Likely to have access with broadband carrier, cable or phone company. They are
also more likely to have static web page without e-commerce capability. The
entrepreneur is always strapped for cash, seeking new customers and seeking
effective marketing strategies.
Businesses:
Defined as a stand-alone small to medium-size business with
owner/franchisee on-site or using managerial or low-wage help. They are
represented across industries, service, retail, manufacturing operating with
small advertising budget. Likely to have static web page poorly advertised.
They are strapped for cash, always seeking new customers and innovative
marketing proposals. Access is probably broadband with cable or phone carriers.
