GlobalNet Communities, Inc will build out a regional Internet online community and neighborhood portal called MyEmpireOnline.com. It will serve the greater Inland Empire community of San Bernardino and Riverside counties and the Eastern Los Angeles county of Southern California. This geographic niche Web site will target consumers, local merchants, and advertisers using dialup with premium services, Web hosting products and Internet advertising opportunities.

Using the "social commerce" model discussed later we weave into a comprehensive, interconnected virtual neighborhood portal subscribers,  merchants, and advertisers. Within this framework and Web structure, neighborhoods of interest emerge that facilitate social exchange between residents, businesses and merchants, advertisers, community and political leaders, educators, professionals, and news services organizations. The strategy is to marry the special interests of our target audience with the marketing objectives and goals of our merchants and advertisers blending “social networking with E-commerce” and creating a unique social commerce environment.

Subscribers and visitors to our Web community socialize and interact in several different Neighborhoods of Interest and advertisers through thoughtfully-place advertisement, bringing targeted visitors into merchant malls or other commerce related venues. Information about their visits is collected.

While visitors are socializing and interacting in a Neighborhood of Interest, information about their visit, including: buying patterns, product interest, blogs, articles read, reviews read, chat groups, poll/survey results, profiles posted, events registered for, messages left on message boards, FAQ, classifieds posted, links used, signups for electronic newsletters, alerts, directory searches, and page views are is passed on to merchants and advertisers.

Merchant Hosting

Web hosting for merchants and businesses has become a profitable business product for ISPs. We will establish a community-Web brand with an aggressive advertising and marketing campaign driving traffic into our virtual community and by default to our hosted merchant Web sites therein.

This differs from current “pure play” national Web hosting and Internet access companies, where they host merchant Web sites in a virtual Internet vacuum. And unlike these Web host companies, we will have a direct sales force to provide hands-on support and a physical location for training, seminars, and meetings.
